i know this trick because ive done it before
There was this one magic show I saw a few years ago I think on comedy central or something. Anyway I forget who the magician was but he pulled up an assistant from the audience, a woman, dressed in plain clothes, jeans and long sleeved shirt. The Trick ended with her in lingerie, embarresed running up the ramp. Thought that was pretty hot. I wonder if that’s on here? If it’s not on YouTube, than it wasn’t staged or planned and she probably ended up suing the guy.
I saw them do a show once! I think it was at Disneyland or Universal Studios, they did a trick where he pierced a freakin spike through her in mid-air and spun her around on the spike, it was unbelievable. I bet its in the top 50 somewhere…
Doing this trick is not hard; I did it for a talent show once with my then-girlfriend. It’s a simple trick that requires no special skill, just practice. What’s hard is doing it in 2 seconds flat. Truly remarkable. But then, that’s why they’re professional magicians.
BTW, I won’t post it here so as not to ruin it, but if anyone doesn’t know how it’s done and wants to, send me an email and I’ll explain it.

Everyone listen up. I know exactly how this is done, no bullshit. The box is rigged no matter how hard it is to believe. Notice at 1:05 how the lid closes right underneath his feet. I liked the ol’ Criss Angel’s version (pre-Mindfreak, late 90’s) better. This one’s fast, but it doesn’t feel like there’s much showmanship in it.
